Program Highlights

The one-semester or full-year program for teachers includes:

  1. Empathy games that build gratitude and warmth
  2. Card Games so students can identify their own and others’ needs to foster conflict resolution
  3. Fun play with feelings that keeps everyone laughing and bonding
  4. Exercises that foster compassion with self and others

    non-judgmental observations
  2. Mindful meditation for compassion
  3. Play that helps students resolve conflicts
  4. Assertiveness Training: Respecting their own and others’ needs instead of being passive, passive-aggressive or aggressive in their social dynamics

  • Program Highlights

    Parents learn how to develop more compassionate family relationships (Conducted via phone, Skype or video):

    • Stop hurtful name-calling and learn to describe concerns without judgment
    • Transform exasperation and defeat to a mindful ability to identify feelings; and to accept each other’s emotional responses
    • Reduce yelling and recognize instead how feelings reveal underlying needs
    • Evolve repeated conflict into creative resolution
